I learned to sell one person at a time.
Then I learned to build the machine.

I grew up in Wisconsin on a wrestling mat. Wrestling, then MMA, was the plan until I was 22, when an injury ended it. Losing the thing you've trained your whole life for forces a question: what else am I actually good at?

The answer had been there since I was 14. I was flipping sneakers, building a network one message at a time across Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. I didn't call it sales. I just knew that if I understood what someone wanted, I could get them to yes.

In 2017 I started a clothing brand, Lasting Dreams, and sold it the hard way: walking up to strangers with my own order forms and telling them the story behind it. When that stopped scaling, I taught myself Facebook ads, and realized the conversation I'd been having face to face could happen with thousands of people at once. I ran e-commerce brands that way for the next three years.

Then I moved to Phoenix and spent six months inside a marketing agency in Mesa, learning the whole machine: creative, targeting, tracking, funnels. Since then I've run advertising for companies from growing small businesses to established brands, including Renmark and Suncovia Solar.

The biggest lesson came from the street. I built and led Hammer & Co, the #1 producing sales organization in the Valley in 2025, opening new residential accounts for Lumen and AT&T across central Phoenix. Knocking doors teaches you something no ad dashboard will: most revenue isn't lost at the ad. It's lost after the lead, in the slow callback, the missed appointment, the follow-up nobody sent. I've worked that back half of the funnel on the front lines for home service, high-ticket education and B2B companies.

I was using ChatGPT from launch, first to build little games, then to build systems. I built AI tools for my own team before I ever sold one, and watched them take hours of work off our plates every week. Most owners and operators still don't know what's possible, or how little it costs now compared to ten years ago.
